Lady Bolts snap four game skid with 19-0 win

GERMANTOWN — Sophomore Jadyn Johnson continued to terrorize opposing pitchers by going three for four with a double, her sixth home run of the season, scored three runs, and had seven RBIs on Saturday to help power Northmont to a 19-0 victory over Valley View.

Johnson is hitting .510 for the season with five doubles and three triples and six home runs, has scored 13 runs and has 33 RBIs. She leads the Greater Western Ohio Conference in home runs and RBIs.

Senior Morgan Pendleton went two for three with a triple, a walk, three runs, four RBIs and belted her fourth homer. Sydney Strickland, a junior, went three for four with a stolen base, two runs and two RBIs.

Zoey Hodge went one for two with a run and one RBI. Shelby Shingler went one for two with one run. Adee Kautz went one for two and scored twice.

Lacie Knick went one for three with a walk and scored three runs. Kyleigh Gunter went one for four with three runs. Kylie Rehmert drew a walk and drove in one run. Shelby Clagg drew a walk and drove in one run.

Gunter pitched all five innings, allowed four hits, no runs with no walks and four strike outs. Northmont improved to 8-8 overall. Valley View fell to 3-13.
