CANTON & EATON — TimkenSteel earlier this year announced its intent to change its name to Metallus Inc.

EVANSVILLE, INDIANA — Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in county seat communities, received the 2024 Preble County Chamber of Commerce Community Improvement Award for initiatives at Eaton Center, located in Eaton, which added new retailers and modernized the appearance and functionality of the property. The award was received by Regency Properties at the Preble County Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala on Jan. 18.

EATON — Vancrest Health Care Center celebrated the grand opening of its brand-new rehabilitation unit in Eaton on Thursday, Nov. 16, with a ribbon cutting and VIP celebration in coordination with the Preble County Chamber of Commerce. The facility includes an expanded therapy gym and all-private rehab rooms. The new rehab unit is part of the second phase of a larger construction project which began in 2021. The multi-phased project has already seen updates to the nurses’ station, dining area, and extensive renovations to resident rooms.

EATON — Henny Penny announced last week President Steve Maggard will retire in May 2024 after four decades with the company, including four years as president.
