“Nuts” were welcome at Camden’s 35th Annual Black Walnut Festival, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 21-22. The community’s large-scale craft show and festival hosted over 160 vendors and included a parade, car show, live entertainment, and of course, black walnuts. Families could find something for everyone, from a beer and wine garden to the fun Kid Zone. Organizers Camden Comeback posted on Facebook a thank you for everyone who helped make this year’s festival a success: “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! To everyone who came out to this year’s Black Walnut Festival, to our wonderful vendors, to our generous sponsors and donors, to all our great volunteers, to the incredible musicians and bands, to the workers who handle everything from our electricity to face painting, and to the Village of Camden and staff — we can’t adequately express how much we appreciate every single one of you. It was a fabulous weekend.”
