NT Renaissance Club speaks at Rotary

The National Trail High School Renaissance Club presented the program on Monday, April 24, at the Eaton Rotary weekly meeting. NT Superintendent Bob Fischer introduced Sindi Hoke and the students’ program. Renaissance Club is tasked with promoting positivity throughout the school. The message is “Belief + Behavior = Outcome.” Members of the club include Seniors Maddie Harrison, Riley Anderson, Regan Weisgerber, Katelynn Neace, Haley Davidson and Garland Weaver, junior Addie Sparks, sophomore Belle Anderson and freshmen Morgan House and Lexi Hake.

Fundraiser helps local family

On Saturday, April 22, the Lakengren community hosted a cornhole tournament to raise money for a local family who lost someone suddenly. “We absolutely live in the best community ever. Donny Hedge was a great guy and a friend to all of us! We came together today and raised an amazingly generous donation for his wife Jamie,” the Lakengren Community Events Committee said in an announcement. Participants donated their winnings back to the family.
