Brookville card sharks now meeting monthly at library
BROOKVILLE — Residents are invited to come play their favorite card games, like euchre, bridge, poker or whatever else they’d like to play on Friday, Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brookville Branch Library.

West Alexandria hosts Ole Fashioned Jamboree
The West Alexandria Celebration Committee hosted its first Ole Fashioned Jamboree in 43 years, beginning Wednesday, April 26, and ending Saturday, April 29. The event hosted food vendors, a car show, a parade, rides and a ferris wheel. Food vendors for the event included Grein’s Sausage Grill, Shelby’s Sweet Shop, Kirby’s Candy Wagon, FattyDaddy’z and Frontline Coffee.
