WA Police Department continues to grow

WEST ALEXANDRIA — Under the direction of Chief Eric Stevens the West Alexandria Police Department continues to grow. During a Monday, Feb. 13, village council meeting, Stevens reintroduced a former officer with the department, Joshua Kazmerick, and had him sworn in by Mayor Jeff Hickey to resume duty with WPD.

CAMDEN — The Preble Shawnee Board of Education heard from the Preble Shawnee Local Education Association (PSLEA) on Thursday, Feb. 9, during the board’s regular meeting. PSLEA voiced its opinion on several topics, including the size of fourth grade classes, and its stance against arming teachers in the school.
