EATON — The Preble County Board of Commissioners hosted the first of four quarterly meetings regarding Sewer District 6 on Monday, Feb. 27. The meeting was open to the public and held at Grace Brethren Community Church outside of West Alexandria.

CAMDEN — During a Camden Village Council meeting on Thursday, Feb. 16, Camden resident Elizabeth Jones addressed the council regarding an ordinance forbidding the possession of chickens, poultry and livestock within village limits.

BROOKVILLE — Council approved the 14th annual walk and block party to benefit the Pink Ribbon Girls organization.

EATON — Eaton Police responded to a call Tuesday morning, Feb. 28, regarding a 2-year-old who had walked away from a daycare located on Washington Jackson Road in the city.

BROOKVILLE — Park board gave its permission to allow a Dayton bicycle club to use the large room in the Lieber Center in Golden Gate Park at a reduced fee for its annual May cycling event.

EATON — During their Wednesday, March 1, meeting, Preble County Commissioners recognized March as Developmental Disabilities Month with a special proclamation.

EATON — On Friday evening, Feb. 24, county, state and local officials gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the Preble County Fairgrounds Expo Expansion — a space for large events which has been years in the making.
