PREBLE COUNTY — Area residents can help strengthen the spring blood supply by donating at several upcoming community blood drives.

OXFORD — The McCullough-Hyde Foundation announced last week the launch of the Community Granting Program as part of the expanded philanthropic mission of the foundation. It is anticipated that more than $200,000 in funding will be available annually through this grantmaking program.

EATON — Recently the Preble County Historical Society received a new Automated External Defibrillator system to better prepare for large crowds, more events as well as their own staff and volunteers.

EATON — Help keep the blood supply strong during the Easter holiday week by donating at the Eaton Community Church monthly community blood drive Thursday, April 13 from noon to 6 p.m.

EATON — The 52nd Annual Preble County Pork Festival has announced this year’s PF Royalty Contest will be held Saturday, May 20, at the Preble County Council on Aging in Eaton.
