South plays at ‘Iconic’ Hoosier Gym
KNIGHTSTOWN, INDIANA — Twin Valley South’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams played in one of the most ‘Iconic’ and famous gyms in the country last week as they visited The Hoosier Gym in Knightstown, Indiana for a battle with Western Athletic Conference rival Dixie.

BROOKVILLE — The Blue Devils wrestling team Wednesday hosted Mechanicsburg, a tough opponent that recently won its 16th straight Ohio Heritage Conference championship Jan. 20 with 243 points.
Lady Bolts 4th, Lady Devils 5th at Iron Maiden
BELLEFONTAINE — The Northmont girls wrestling team placed 4th and the Brookville girls 5th out of 63 teams Jan. 26-27 at the Iron Maiden Tournament at Bellefontaine.

Valley View, Franklin hold off Lady Devils
BROOKVILLE — The Brookville Lady Devils fought gallantly but came up short against both Valley View and Franklin last week. The scores were 47-37 Valley View and 42-39 in favor of Franklin. The losses drop Brookville to a record of 8-12 overall and 4-7 in the Buckeye Division of the SWBL.

T’bolts upset 1st place Centerville
CENTERVILLE — B.J. Hatcher scored 20 and Javen Vaughn 16 points Friday to help Northmont pull off a 59-54 upset victory over first place Centerville.
Lady Bolts fall to Springboro
CLAYTON — Springboro used a balanced scoring attack Wednesday to take a 20-9 first quarter lead that swelled to 42-15 at halftime en route to 75-40 victory.
