EATON — In 2022, Ohio County Auditor’s, Weights and Measures inspectors, found that Dollar General had between 16 percent and 88 percent of products at individual stores priced incorrectly. Ohio Law only allows a two percent error rate for individual stores. For instance, a can of pasta would be priced at $1.50 on the shelf but at the register it would ring up with a cost of $2.25.

PREBLE COUNTY — Bitterly cold weather has been the norm for much of January, with the first real accumulating snow finally falling late last week creating slick roads. Despite a warm-up expected this week, on Monday, evening Jan. 22, a winter weather advisory was again in effect until Tuesday, with up to a tenth of an inch of total ice accumulations from freezing rain expected. The remainder of the week is forecast to be a rainy one, with temperatures near and in the 50s.
